Hiring for a Yard Forklift Operator in Abbotsford, BC

Description:

Responsible for locating steel in the yard and assisting forklift operators picking and loading orders. Once the employee is completely trained and competent in the groundmen position they will be trained on the forklift and moved into that position.

• Locating steel orders in yard

• Moving dunnage for forklift operator

• Help forklift operator with loading and unloading

• Read pick sheets, prepare shipping documents, and communicating with truck drivers

• Working in all weather conditions, if too cold they will call the day or work inside

Shift Timings:

Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm OT available

Pay Rate:

$23.00 - 25.00/hr
