Aerotek Maintenance Technician III in West Columbia, South Carolina

Description:
The MHE III will have the ability to lead other service technicians, design solutions for difficult problems, able to manage outside contractors, be on call for emergencies, ability to handle multiple projects and daily activities, and meet time lines as per company standards. Develop plans on how to accomplish departmental and distribution goals.
• Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical
• Trains employees as needed.
• Provide feedback on tasks in the Preventive Maintenance programs
• Complete assigned PMs and provide feedback on any improvements that might be needed.
• Ability to install and maintain-- photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachs, and encoders
• Mentor technicians by motivating, providing guidance and directions to help them achieve their goals
• Work with teams to complete any additional projects as assigned.
• Completes all safety training as assigned by the Company.
Shifts:
Candidates must be OPEN TO ALL SHIFTS
Sunday to Tuesday and a 1/2 day on Wednesday. 7AM - 7PM Day Shift OR
Sunday to Tuesday and a 1/2 day on Wednesday. 7PM - 7AM Night Shift OR
1/2 Day Wednesday and Thursday to Saturday 7AM - 7PM Day Shift OR
1/2 Day Wednesday and Thursday to Saturday 7PM - 7AM Night Shift
Pay: $30.50 hourly

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Tech 3s are expected to be very mechanically and electrically inclined, with a solid understanding of conveyor systems. They will be expected 2+ year of maintenance experience in an industrial environment. BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Ability to work all days and shifts
