Job Title: Technician 1
Job Description
Join our leading team in the emergency vehicle upfitting industry as a Technician 1, where you will specialize in the custom outfitting of various emergency and utility vehicles. This role demands a superior knowledge of emergency vehicle outfitting, enabling you to independently build complete Patrol and K-9 units. You will also assist in leading the team, ensuring that all vehicle specifications and project deadlines are met with uncompromised quality. Your expertise will be crucial in substituting for a Lead Tech when necessary.
Hard Skills
Installation of equipment including harness wiring, trunk trays, consoles, partitions, etc.
Complete advanced vehicle builds independently
Emergency equipment repair
Soldering and heat shrinking
Looming and wiring
Advanced car wiring
Use of hand, power, and air tools
Operation of vehicle hoists
Use of 12 volt relay and testing equipment
Operation of hand torches
Soft Skills
Mechanically inclined
Ability to read and follow work instructions
Proficiency in mechanical assembly

This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled, large, clean, and organized shop environment as part of a small, tight-knit team of 12 employees. Regular working hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with the possibility of starting earlier during busy seasons. Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
