CNC Machinist
Job Description
Lathe or mill CNC Setup/Operators needed for 1st (6am-3:30pm) and 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm) for an aerospace company in Anaheim, CA. This role involves setting up and operating multi-axis CNC lathes. Candidates will have the opportunity to work with advanced machinery including Eurotec CNC machines and collaborate with the management team to plan production and scheduling. This is a great position for those looking to train and learn machining, with opportunities to advance into lead machinist and programming positions.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate multi-axis CNC lathes.
Collaborate with the management team to plan production and scheduling.
Work with and lead a team in the Eurotec section of the facility.
Perform inspections and read blueprints to ensure accuracy.
Participate in daily overtime work and occasional Saturday shifts.
Essential Skills
Experience with lathe, blueprint reading, and calipers.
Proficiency in CNC setup and operation (lathe/mill).
Ability to perform inspections and read blueprints.
1-3 years of experience or trade school training.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
NTMA training preferred.
Experience with Haas and Eurotec CNC machines.

Work Environment
The work environment is a very clean aerospace manufacturing facility. The 1st shift operates from 5am-2:30pm Monday to Friday with daily overtime and Saturday shifts. The 2nd shift operates from 3pm-11:30pm Monday to Friday with daily overtime and Saturday shifts. Training may initially occur on the 1st shift before transitioning to the 2nd shift.
