Aerotek Mold Maker in AUBURN HILLS, Michigan

Job Title: Mold Maker

Job Description

As a Mold Maker, you will play a vital role in our production process. Your primary responsibility will be assembling molds and tooling up to specifications before delivery to the customer. This may involve precise fitting of injector pins, as well as occasional grinding and polishing of equipment. In addition, you will be expected to troubleshoot tool problems both in theory and on the shop floor, carry out conventional machining tasks, perform revisions, repairs, and upgrades to molds or dies, and review prints and programs to develop processes for job completion. You will also work closely with designers, programmers, and assemblers to produce or repair necessary components, and help to identify potential process and equipment improvements. One of your responsibilities will also be to work with apprentices to help upgrade their skill levels.
