Job Title: Assembly Technician 2
Job Description
The Assembly Technician 2 is responsible for producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies. This role involves preparing work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. The successful candidate will be able to assemble assemblies/equipment with minimal training, utilizing provided tools and a drawing, blueprint, and/or work instructions. This position requires someone who is a quick learner, mechanically inclined, and able to follow and pick up on processes quickly.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Austin, Texas.
Work Environment
This position operates on a 1st Shift (6am - 2:30pm) and 2nd Shift (2:30pm - 11pm). The role is mostly stationed within the manufacturing area but may involve working in cleanroom manufacturing, warehouse, and office environments. The incumbent must be able to wear a full cleanroom suit and be prepared for environmental exposures such as electrical currents, moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and varying noise levels.
