Aerotek Inventory Specialist in Austin, Texas

Job Title: Inventory Specialist

Weekly Pay- $20/hr

Job Description

As an Inventory Specialist, you will accurately and safely distribute material both internally and externally to support facility operations efficiently. Your primary responsibilities include stocking, inventory management, and handling all manufacturing materials. You will perform accurate counting, kitting of materials, and ensure transactions and physical movement of materials in and out of the stockroom are handled precisely. Additionally, you will maintain accurate inventory levels, manage cycle counts, and ensure the warehouse remains clean. You may also assist in shipping, receiving, packaging, and other duties such as driving a company truck or operating a forklift as needed. Attendance is crucial for this position.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Austin, Texas.

Work Environment

Work in a well-lit, clean, air-conditioned warehouse with some outdoor work required. The role involves exerting up to 45 pounds of force occasionally and frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs. Expect environmental exposure to noise, various weather conditions, and hazards such as electrical currents and moving mechanical parts. Appropriate personal protective equipment is required.
