Job Title: Pallet Builder

Job Description

Aerotek's client is looking for Pallet Builders to join the production team. Candidates will be working along a production line with a conveyor carrying down pallets that need to be serviced and/or repaired. Candidate's will need to be comfortable lifting pallets repeatedly and flipping pallets to conduct visual inspections on repairs needed. Pallets will weigh anywhere between 70-80lbs. To repair the pallets, candidates will be attaching new boards using a pneumatic nail gun that is hanging in suspension. Following nail patterns to ensure accuracy of repair. There are openings on 1st and 2nd shift; 1st shift is 6:00am-2:30pm M-F and 2nd shift is 4:00pm-12:30am M-F.

Job Duties

• Utilize a pneumatic nail gun to assemble/repair pallets

• Place pallets on repair table and visually inspect for what repairs are needed

• Remove defective boards and replace new boards

• Follow nail patterns

Soft Skills

• Ability to repeatedly lift 70-80 lbs

• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift

Job Type

• This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 days - during the 90 days, our client will be looking for a strong work ethic and daily attendance, afterwards you will be eligible for conversion to a permanent employee of said client

Work Environment

• Working on-site in a manufacturing center in Baltimore

• This is a NON-climate controlled environment, hot summers and cold winters
