Description:

Aerotek is seeking a technician to travel to various locations in order to maintain repairs and installations for a larger Automotive company. This position requires knowledge in electrical assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting & ability to support networking equipment/store services. For larger-scale installations and remodels, technician will primarily work under the direct supervision of a more experienced technician. Position must travel on a frequent to full time basis. Reports issues/concerns that affect the operational stability of any production system or environment to chain of command with a sense of urgency.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS:

50% - Provide basic on-site service and support for store endpoints, including but not limited to:

Endpoint

Phone system hardware

Assist with networking equipment

Assist in providing support to Store servers at the various tire center locations

50% - Provide basic on-site cabling infrastructure service, support, maintenance and repairs

Required Technical Skills/Knowledge:

Must have a valid Oregon driver’s license and excellent driving record

Basic to intermediate knowledge of computer applications; telecommunications; network; and computer hardware (server and workstation components)

Ability to use and understand technical documentation

Ability to use powered hand-tools

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIRED:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

1 year related work experience

1 year apprenticeship program (preferred) (sponsorship under a licensed journeyman provided)
