Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and performing preventative maintenance, work orders, and emergency repairs to ensure they are done correctly. You will inspect running equipment and plan for repairs during scheduled downtime. You will also work closely with mechanics to facilitate their growth and promotions, as well as with production supervisors to meet their needs. Your role will include troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems on automated equipment. You must be visible and readily available on the plant floor as much as possible. You will also maintain a safe working environment in both the maintenance shop and on the plant floor. Your attention to detail is crucial, especially when working on equipment or anywhere near the product. You will be expected to provide and maintain your own hand tools. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and responsibilities will also include scheduling mechanics and submitting payroll. You will also participate in operations shift meetings as well as safety and food safety meetings and inspections. This position is for the 2nd Shift (1pm-9pm; Monday - Friday) but may possibly be for the 3rd shift.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

Fast-paced production environment, maintaining a safe working space in both the maintenance shop and the plant floor. You will be required to be visible and readily available on the plant floor as much as possible. You must also be open to working different shifts including 2nd (1pm-9pm) and possibly 3rd shift.
