Aerotek Press Brake Operator in Binghamton, New York

Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION: A press brake operator produces metal parts and components using press brake equipment that makes precision cuts. The operator follows work instructions to form and bend metal to the required drawing specifications.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Operate press brake equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. - Ability to learn to do own set ups and run out parts. - Select and install the correct tools, tracking and machine adjustment. - Follow work instructions and read drawings to select position and secure machinery. - Form and bend metal parts to the required drawing specifications. - Use precision measuring devices to verify accuracy of finished products. - Ensure quality production through physical self-inspection. - Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
