Job Title: Field Service Conveyor Mechanic

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to troubleshoot conveyor issues, specifically focusing on proper rigging, belt tracking, and maintenance. Responsibilities include operating hand tools like drills, grinders, welders, and torches; operating telehandlers, forklifts, and aerial lifts; cutting and welding on various conveyor designs; laying out, prepping, cementing, and cooking vulcanized splices; and tensioning and tracking conveyor belts upon installation completion. This role involves 28% travel with the farthest trips being up to 6 hours to locations in Michigan or Pennsylvania.

Additional Information/Pay/Shift:

  • Pay: $28.00/hr. - $34.00/hr.

  • Will be paid while driving to site

  • 1.5x Pay after 1st 8 hours

  • 2.0x pay on Sundays

  • All Travel cost will be paid for (hotels, meals, etc.)

  • Option for mileage reimbursement or company truck

  • Day Shift: 6:00AM - 3:00PM

  • must be willing to work a 8-16 hour day as project can run long or short (averaging 50 total hours a week)

  • must be open to holidays and weekends as projects can last for days at a time

  • Tools will be provided
