Job Title: General Production Worker - Stacker/Assembler
Job Description
As a General Production Worker, your primary responsibilities will include referring to blueprints/diagrams, cutting metal pieces to length, utilizing table clamps, and assembling two types of units: small core and big core. Your role will also involve stacking stacks of metal together, using epoxy to secure them to the base, temporary taping to hold the unit together, and using a hammer and tools (shears) to align the core and ensure everything is symmetrical. You will be working in a small warehouse with 10-14 employees and all materials and tools will be provided to make the process quick and efficient. You will be working in teams to assemble the core product that goes into power distribution units, and you must be open and willing to learn the electrical aspect of this job.
Hard Skills
1+ years assembly experience with Transformers
1+ years reading and working off of blueprints
Mechanical and electrical capabilities

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Brampton, Ontario.
Work Environment
You will be working in an afternoon shift from 3:15 pm to 11:45 pm. Training will be provided during the daytime for 2-3 weeks, depending on how quickly you grasp the tasks. The warehouse has good lighting but can get a bit dusty.
