Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will participate in daily pass down meetings, identify immediate repair issues, and conduct daily checks including low voltage checks, greasing bearings/shafts, and rotating equipment. Your responsibilities will also include performing repairs such as replacing bearings and shafts, repairing hydraulic/pneumatic components, and basic electrical troubleshooting. You will need to read and interpret blueprints to identify the areas needing repair. We value technicians who prioritize simple repairs before resorting to more complicated solutions.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Bremen, Indiana.

Work Environment

In this role, you will be working across our three plant locations as required and will be part of a team with two other technicians on your shift. Dress code includes no jewelry, tucked in shirts, tied back long hair, closed-toed shoes, and proper PPE. The working hours are from 5p-5a on a 2-2-3 schedule with plenty of overtime offered. Training will be on the day shift from 6a - 2p, Monday to Friday. You will spend one week with the maintenance supervisor learning about our machines before moving to an off shift.
