Job Title: Install Technician
Job Description
We specialize in Modular System Cleanroom building and installations and are looking to add two qualified candidates to our growing company. Candidates should have a minimum of 2+ years of finish carpentry experience. Ideal candidates will have experience installing windows and doors, trim, and have a good knowledge of tape measures and math. Please note that a tape measure test will be administered during the interview.
Responsibilities
Cut aluminum pieces to size per job requirements using stocked 20ft lengths.
Punch holes in aluminum pieces to allow the installation of locking mechanisms.
Lock and tighten the aluminum frame together on-site with a specialized wrench.
Install glass as the final step of the installation process.
Engage in 50%-60% local jobs within 1-2 hours of the shop in Burnsville, primarily in the Twin City Metro area.
Participate in 30%-40% travel jobs scattered around the country, with travel, hotels, and meals reimbursed.
Spend initial time in the shop learning the process and products, measuring, and cutting aluminum for frames.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 2 years of residential or commercial construction/carpentry experience.
Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/16th of an inch.
Proficiency in using power tools and saws.
Capability to pass a basic math test focused on fractional math.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with power tools such as chop saws and table saws.
Knowledge of finish carpentry, including installing trim, doors, and windows.

Work Environment
You will be working mostly at client sites installing equipment and walls, primarily traveling within MN. Most times, you will meet at the shop in the morning, and traditional working hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burnsville, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00
