Job Title: Electrical Technician/Panel Builder

Job Description

As an Electrical Technician/Panel Builder, you will be at the forefront of designing, assembling, wiring, and testing basic electrical panels and systems. You will leverage your experience in designing basic electrical control systems, building panels to specifications, and ensuring your work meets industry standards and safety regulations. Your role will also include reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings, testing and troubleshooting electrical systems, and installing and modifying electrical components as per project requirements. Moreover, you will wire and troubleshoot various manufacturing equipment and utilize AutoCad to update electrical schematic upgrades.

Hard Skills

  • Experience in electrical panel building

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating electrical schematics and layouts

  • Basic knowledge of electrical motors

  • Experience in wiring and troubleshooting various manufacturing equipment

  • Knowledge of relevant safety standards and electrical codes (e.g., NEC, UL standards)

Soft Skills

  • Strong understanding of electrical components, wiring, and circuitry

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Carol Stream, Illinois.

Work Environment

You will be working in a medium-sized facility with a production shop feel. Your role will require close collaboration with the other welder fabricator in the team.
