Job Title: Chemical Operator
Job Description
Our company is seeking a meticulous and safety-oriented Chemical Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for performing kettle and holding tank washouts in compliance with department requirements, recording raw material needs and consumed quantities, submitting formula and raw material samples to QC for testing and approval, and ensuring formula batches meet required specs. Additionally, your duties will include the safe use of tools such as pumps, hoses, transfer lines, and valves for transferring raw materials and formulas, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, and wearing all necessary PPE. You will also be expected to execute assigned housekeeping duties, replace and maintain hoses, gaskets, and connectors as needed, assist in troubleshooting transfer pumps, and operate forklifts and pallet jacks as required.
