Aerotek Assembly Technician in Centennial, Colorado

Job Title: Assembly Technician ($22-$24/hour)

Job Description

We're seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be part of a team of operators, technicians, and engineers responsible for the assembly and fabrication of medical ultrasound devices using cutting-edge manufacturing processes and technology. Your role will involve a variety of manual assembly operations under a microscope using small hand tools, fixtures, and basic electronic test equipment. We expect you to foster a culture that builds and maintains strong business and technical judgment, a command of the facts, and the confidence to take decisive action.

Hard Skills

  • Applicable assembly, technical, repair and troubleshooting experience

  • Ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and precision

  • Able to follow technical instructions and procedures as well as understand technical terms

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of mechanical concepts

  • Able to manually assemble parts using a microscope and hand tools

  • Good problem-solving, troubleshooting, critical thinking, and creative thinking skills

  • Ability to work for long periods of time in a seated position

Soft Skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in NA, Colorado.

Work Environment

This position operates on a 1st shift schedule with 4 10-hour shifts every other week, either from 5:30am-2:00pm (Monday-Friday) or 5:30am-4:00pm (Monday-Thursday). The work is performed in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment, where exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes and gases is limited. The noise level is moderately loud and includes sounds of a normal manufacturing environment. Chemicals such as coolants, solvents, adhesives, primers, and mold release are used in the manufacturing area, but exposure is limited due to the use of PPE and ventilation. The role will require frequent contact with all levels of employees and management.
