Journeyman Electrician

Job Description

Seeking skilled mid-level apprentices or journeyman electrical technicians to join our dynamic team in supporting I&C electrical work. The role involves performing wire management, bending pipe, running conduit, EMT, and other tasks as assigned based on the individual's expertise in motor controls, lighting, terminations, and various electrical applications using basic hand tools. The main responsibilities include bending/running conduit of 1.5" inch or smaller, primarily EMT, installing control panels, installing cable trays, and pulling wire.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chandler, Arizona.

Work Environment

This role is based at the Intel Ocotillo site, working 60 hours per week, Monday to Saturday from 5:30 AM to 4 PM. The position involves working on the Eagle Project Fab52, which is part of the tool install scope. The role requires comfortability in clean rooms and wearing a bunny suit as needed. The work environment involves significant walking as the Intel campus is extensive. Employees must park and take a shuttle from the parking lot to the job site, arriving early to ensure timely attendance at their meeting area by 5:30 AM. The building is currently not enclosed, leading to higher temperatures, but enclosure efforts are underway
