Job Description

We are seeking an Assembler B - Electrical to join our team. This role is responsible for performing routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories using manual operations. The candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of relevant electrical manufacturing and/or aviation experience. The daily work includes routing of wire harness, building connectors, splicing wires, crimping, terminating wires, installing connectors to receptacles and electronic components, and performing repairs, rework processes to incorporate authorized changes outlined by engineering instructions. The candidate should also have experience in fiber optic clean and inspection, light loss testing and installation, bond & ground including CRNs, jumpers, ground stud installation & resistance testing. The candidate is responsible for verifying installations of assemblies by team members as an “MFPP” Quality delegated MT, inspecting to ensure First Pass Quality (FPQ) is attained per engineering drawings and specifications, and verifying and ensuring FAA compliance with Quality Management System.

Hard Skills

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in NORTH CHARLESTON, SC.

Work Environment

The candidate must be onboarded in Beeline by EOD Tuesday to start Friday and must badge Thursday morning. The work starts at 5am on Friday at our Welcome Center, Badging Office located at 5400 International Blvd, North Charleston, SC. The supplier is responsible for ensuring that the contractor will be prepared with proper documentation to validate US Person Status and fulfill the requirements of the U.S. ECCVF. The candidate must bring current, unexpired Government-issued photo identification and an original, unexpired export status proof document. The badge must be obtained prior to start, and contractors may not start with a temporary badge. The badge must be turned in to security at the end of the assignment. Additional Comments: The contractor must be able to work variable shifts - 1st, 2nd, 3rd. Overtime is scheduled based on business needs and may include weekend hours. Training completion is a condition of employment.
