Job Title: Electromechanical Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a Maintenance Tech to join our team in a machine shop environment. The ideal candidate will oversee the maintenance operations for 3 small locations, ensuring that all machinery and equipment are functioning optimally. No leadership responsibilities, because this candidate will be the sole Maintenance Tech. But they will need to be well-experienced and self-sufficient with multi-craft industrial maintenance work and able to handle all aspects of that alone.
Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate the maintenance activities.
Perform mechanical, electrical, and PLC maintenance tasks.
Oversee fabrication, welding, sanding, grinding, and polishing tasks.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment as needed.
Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

Work Environment
The work environment is a machine shop that can be dirty, hot, and has older equipment. The position requires working in these conditions while maintaining a focus on safety and quality.
Job Type & Location
This is a 4-month Contract-to-Hire position based out of Chattanooga, TN.
Pay: $25-$28/hr, depending on experience
Shift: 1st - 5:00am to 1:30pm
Schedule: Monday-Friday
