Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
Job Description
Perform electrical maintenance on machinery and equipment, including CNC machines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot malfunctions. Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for issues, and using precision measuring and testing instruments. Remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand and power tools, and examine the form and texture of parts. Inform production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitor compliance to control downtime. Maintain inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies by checking stock levels, anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt. Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed. Prepare electrical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications, and establishing personal networks.

This is a direct-hire, permanent position.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Chattanooga, TN.
Work Environment
Foundry manufacturing environment, including a furnace/pour area, CNC machining area, and an assembly area for heavy assembly of valves.
Pay: $26.31/hr for the first 720 hrs, then it goes to $27.01+/hr, depending on experience and performance
Shift: train on 1st shift, then must be flexible to work any shift as needed for the first 720 hours, then it will be either 2nd or 3rd shift from that point on.
Schedule: Monday-Friday with OT on weekends as needed; probably 45-50 hours a week
