Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description
Responsible for ensuring materials are properly received, stored and loaded for production. The role also includes maintaining the yard area, organizing it, and assisting customers with loading materials as needed. Duties involve preparing equipment for plant start-up, operating forklifts to move and load products, performing general housekeeping tasks, maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the plant grounds, and other tasks as directed by the plant manager.

Work Environment
Majority of work is performed outdoors with exposure to various weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, and dust. The role involves occasional to frequent exposure to rough, muddy, or icy surfaces, high noise levels, vibration, moving parts, dust, diesel fuel, propane, and other potentially toxic or explosive substances. Personal protective equipment is provided as necessary.
