Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

  • As a Maintenance Technician, you will be focused on machine installations, setup of highly automated equipment including controls, automation, and electrical systems.

  • Your role will be to support and provide ongoing preventive, planned and unplanned maintenance on production equipment associated with your assigned areas within the plant once installations are complete.

  • You will oversee new equipment installation, set up, modification, and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are functioning according to OEM specifications.

  • You will also inspect and check equipment for proper operating condition, make necessary adjustments, log test readings, and maintain, repair, or replace equipment parts.

  • Additionally, you will perform preventative maintenance, calibration of equipment and systems to meet and maintain specs and tolerances.

  • Experience in Industrial Maintenance with emphasis on electrical controls

  • Intermediate knowledge of PLC programming, robotics, and vision controls

  • Intermediate knowledge of Electrical Theory for AC/DC circuits, Motor Controls (VFD, Servo)

  • Fundamental understanding of mechanical maintenance, pneumatics, and hydraulics

Work Environment

  • You will be working in a massive, newly constructed battery manufacturing facility. The facility is clean and is climate controlled. The work schedule will be a standard 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday until late spring of 2024. Once the plant is functioning, the maintenance teams will transition to a 3-2-2 pattern on day-shift with 12-hour shifts and a 45-minute unpaid lunch. The plant is scheduled to be fully operational in January 2025.
