Aerotek Extrusion Machine Operator in Clinton, Tennessee
Description:
• if you have strong experience in extrusion operations, leadership experience, and a commitment to quality, we want to hear from you!
Strong mathematical skills: ability to perform basic calculations and measurements
• Knowledge and understanding of downstream operator and reel builder job duties
• Familiarity with smooth core procedures and operations
• Working knowledge of extruders, printers, reelers, vacuum systems, chiller systems, resin systems, pullers, quality control standards, and product specifications
• Record "Lost Production Hours," including reasons for lost time, and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate with other operators to maintain production schedules and make necessary tooling changes
• Ability to work 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
• Work primarily indoors on the plant floor, with exposure to heat, dust, and noise
