Aerotek Machine Operator in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the responsibility of setting up and operating a variety of automatic or semi-automatic manufacturing machines, including robotic assembly equipment used in the production of the company's semiconductor products. The role requires the candidate to manage the overall operation of potentially large-scale manufacturing machinery, including feeding materials for processing, adjusting settings, and pulling finished products from the line, working from a computer-driven program.

Shift and Schedule

Compressed workweek shifts – 12 hour days, alternates between 3 days per week and 4 days per week.

• Shift A (Sunday to Wednesday/Monday – Wednesday) – 7:00 am – 7:00 pm

• Shift B (Sunday to Wednesday/Monday – Wednesday – 7:00 pm – 7:00 am (15% differential)

• Shift C (Wednesday to Saturday/Wednesday to Friday) – 7:00 am – 7:00 pm

• Shift D (Wednesday to Friday) – 7:00 pm – 7:00 am (15% differential)

Qualifications

  • Operating traditional fab equipment

  • Operating tools for wafer/panel processing

  • Handling delicate materials

  • Performing first-level maintenance and troubleshooting

  • Setting up and operating assigned production equipment

Soft Skills

  • Ability to check and inspect operation results against predetermined tolerances

  • Ability to interface with Engineering, Maintenance, and Management

  • Striving to achieve goals for quality, efficiency, and productivity

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Work Environment

The work environment is a Class 100 cleanroom with around 50 employees at Elkton and 110 at Federal. The locations are in Colorado Springs, CO. Previous cleanroom and machine operating experience would be beneficial.
