Job Title: Fabricator

Job Description

As a Fabricator, you will be tasked with reading blueprints and assembling machines/products for a new production line. This includes setting materials, aligning components, and reading from blueprint documents. Your duties will involve cutting, shaping, welding, bending, repairing, or joining components, primarily working with tube fab, structural welding, and thick wall tubing. You will verify measurements and dimensions using rulers, measuring tapes, or squares, and place product components as indicated in blueprints for proper alignment. Utilizing tools like hammers, pry bars, jacks, and wedges, you will manipulate materials such as steel or plastic by cutting, hammering, bending, or grinding. Additionally, you will operate furnaces or hand torches to heat materials for flexibility, maneuver fabrication machines like grinders, drill presses, and flame cutters, and create templates for common tasks to maintain quality standards.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Connelly Springs, North Carolina.

Work Environment

The facility is clean and modern, operating on a first shift from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a half-hour lunch break. Open to working additional hours on Sundays or Saturdays if work volume increases. The pay rate is $20-24 per hour.
