Material Handler

Job Description

The Material Handler position is a hands-on role, requiring to load, unload, process, and store hazardous and nonhazardous waste materials at a permitted waste treatment facility. The job involves processing solid and liquid waste, operating a fork truck and Bob Cat, and using proper equipment to remove samples of materials for analysis. Please note that there is no interaction with biohazard material or human waste in this role.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Coolidge, Arizona.

Work Environment

This role operates in a hot environment within a covered facility featuring open doorways to enable airflow. The summer shift is from Monday to Friday, 5am-12:30pm. In the winter, the shift changes to 6am-2:30pm. There are very limited Saturdays; this is not a requirement, although there may be opportunities to pick up extra hours.
