Job Title: Toolmaker

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Toolmaker with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with the tool designer to develop and design new tools and dies. Responsibilities include studying blueprints, sketches, and models to plan the sequence of operations for fabricating tools, dies, and assemblies. The role involves setting up and operating conventional, NC, and CNC equipment for lathes, milling, and grinding machines, as well as fitting and assembling parts to make, repair, or modify jigs, gauges, and tools using machine tools and hand tools.

Hard Skills

  • Experience as a Toolmaker

  • Ability to operate conventional or CNC machine tools

  • Proficiency in using inspection tools like micrometers, comparators, gauges, and calipers

  • Progressive die experience

  • Ability to study and interpret blueprints, sketches, and models

This is a fully on-site position in WARWICK, Rhode Island.
