Aerotek Welder in Dallastown, Pennsylvania

Job Title: Welder

Job Description

The Welder will be responsible for laying out and fitting metal parts according to blueprints. These parts are typically made up of Aluminum or Steel and range from 2" thickness down to thin gauge sheet metal. Once the parts are fitted and tacked into place, the welder will use MIG or TIG welding styles to weld the parts into place according to the prints. After welding is completed, they will grind and finish the parts for the next stage in the process.

SHIFT

1st Shift M-F 7am to 3pm.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Dallastown, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

The work environment operates like a large job shop, focused on welding areas with Miller welding machines. Tasks involve welding Aluminum and Steel. Employees must work near moving mechanical parts, around fumes/airborne particles, in extreme hot/cold weather conditions, with risk of electrical shock, risk of radiation, and in a very loud environment. Must be able to tolerate fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
