Job Title: Plumber
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Plumber to provide critical facilities support at Geisinger Medical Center, a major trauma center located in Danville, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various systems, including air, vacuum and piped gas lines and equipment such as pumps, tanks, and dryers. You'll also handle the maintenance and repair of domestic water piping and equipment, as well as steam piping and distribution equipment. Your duties will extend to work with reducing stations, valves, heaters, and sterilizing equipment.
Hard Skills
Plumbing experience, ideally 5+ years
Experience with whole house piping, installing faucets/showers, boilers
Experience soldering, making connections
Soft Skills
Willingness to consider entry level up to 10+ years of experience, 5+ years ideal
Openness to residential experience given the right attitude
Job Type
This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Danville, Pennsylvania.
Work Environment
You will be joining a group of 40+ facilities technicians in a very large hospital environment. Please note, there is more use of plastic (PVC) in residential settings, and this material is not frequently used in our hospital setting.
