Job Title: Group Lead
Job Description
As a Tool Room Group Lead, you will be responsible for managing the tool room inventory to ensure all tooling is accounted for and production lines remain operational. Your key responsibilities will include locating and delivering requested tooling to employees, documenting outgoing parts, inputting inventory numbers into the I-3 tracking system, and performing cycle counts. You will supervise 5 to 6 UAW employees involved in tool setting and grinding operations and work closely with the engineering department and both internal and external customers. Additionally, you will oversee employee timecards and occasionally approve vacation requests. This position is for the 2nd shift, from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM Monday to Saturday, with occasional work on Sundays. The compensation ranges from $22 to $28 per hour, based on experience.
