Aerotek Shipping & Receiving Associate in Des Moines, Washington

Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Associate

Join our team as a Warehouse Worker, where you will be responsible for tracking inbound and outbound inventory and handling materials on forklifts, including sit-down Miti and standup Crown. Your role also involves general warehouse duties and producing shipping documents, requiring meticulous attention to detail. The position includes a standard work schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM with occasional overtime. Position is to monitor shipping/shipments in person as well as over email or call, process shipping documents according to branch and customer requirements while using a SOP to keep things in order. Contact carrier to get update on arrival of shipping products and timeline for arrival. have a good relationship with trucker when shipments arrive.

Shift: Day - 8am - 5pm | Monday-Friday | Starting Pay: $21.00 Hourly

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering incoming calls and assisting customers with their inquiries and concerns.

  • Analyze customer/client needs and provide appropriate solutions or recommendations.

  • Conduct outbound calling to follow up with customers or provide updates on their requests.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.

  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure prompt resolution of customer issues.

  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge to effectively address customer inquiries.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide feedback to management.

  • Manage large amounts of incoming phone calls

  • Generate sales leads

  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction

  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication

  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools

  • Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas

  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution

  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file

Skills:
