Job Title: Automation Technician

Job Description

As an Automation Technician, you will engage directly with customers and actively participate in projects. Your primary responsibilities will include extensive PLC Programming using 500 and 5000 series Allen Bradley Software. Additionally, you will collaborate with the production team on the development of new instrumentation, HMI, and PLC products. This role demands a significant amount of onsite work with customers across various industries, requiring a hands-on approach and a customer service-oriented attitude. The position operates on a day shift with an 8-hour schedule, though some on-call availability may be required depending on customer demand.

Work Site

This is a role that requires regular visits to customer sites within a 2 hour radius of the office in Dillsburg, PA. Company vehicle and gas allowance provided, as well as tools.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a control panel building shop with an office setting. However, the majority of the work will be conducted on the road and at customer locations, typically within 1-1.5 hours from the office. You will be home nightly. The project and work environments will vary, involving sectors such as Water Processing and Treatment, Manufacturing, Distribution, and Oil/Gas. The company provides attire including a polo and jeans, with a Steel Toe Allowance.
