Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

Seeking a detail-oriented CNC Machinist responsible for the fabrication of machined piece parts, tooling, prototypes, molds, and fixtures. The role requires machining parts from models, blueprints, drawings, and verbal directions, including the set-up, operation, and editing of Vertical/Horizontal Machining Centers. Responsibilities also include operating conversational milling machines, filling out work instructions accurately, understanding and adjusting planning procedures, and maintaining cleanliness and order in the work area.

Hard Skills

  • CNC Set up

  • CNC operation

  • Blueprint Reading

  • Experience with Haas machines

  • CNC Lathe live tooling

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work in a team

  • Detail-oriented

  • Ability to adjust and explain planning procedures

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Duluth, Minnesota.

Work Environment

This is a job shop environment. Very clean, but fast-paced. 2nd shift M-F 4:00pm - 2:30am. Plus OT as needed. Weekend shift Friday-Sunday 6:00am-6:30pm.
