Aerotek Certified Pharmacy Technician in Durham, North Carolina
Pharm Techs will be primarily responsible for medication delivery/distribution, restocking patient medications in omnicell cabinets, answering phone calls from patients and internal medical partners, speaking with and supporting RNs and MDs in person within the Hospital and pulling/preparing drugs from medication carousals. Minimal compounding will be required i.e. crushing up a few tablets and mixing them in water.
Must be willing to work either of the shifts below:
Monday - Friday from 7:00a - 3:30p
Monday - Friday from 3:00p - 11:30p
Top Skills Details:
1) Inpatient or Hospital experience highly preferred but NOT required
2) Experience working with automated dispensing equipment (Omnicell or Pyxis)
3) High level of customer service and team work.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
1+ years of experience as a certified pharm tech
