Quality Technician

Description:
• Inspection of product: Typically, first piece, in-process, and receiving inspections, with Final Inspection as needed to support business needs. Perform follow up actions for non-conforming product such as identification and segregation of affected product.
• Calibration and setting of gages.
• Assist in identifying and correcting areas in need of improvement. Participate in corrective actions.
• Assist with preparation, completion, and submission of certifying documentation such Certificates of Conformance, PPAPs, and FAIRs.
• Assist in providing guidance and training as needed to production associates.
• Help facilitate and perform process audits and annual ISO audits.
• Assist in maintaining the company’s quality system documentation. Revise and control quality documents based on internal and external changes.
• Help ensure the company complies with ISO accreditation requirements.
• Other necessary tasks as directed by the Quality Manager.
Must Haves:
Experience with quality testing equipment such as: micrometers, calipers, gauges etc
At least 2 years quality tech experience
GD&T comprehension
Blueprint Reading
