HIRING FOR CLAMP TRUCK OPERATORS IN ELGIN IL $20-23hr - 3RD SHIFT
We are in search of a highly motivated, self-driven Clamp Truck/Forklift Operator to join our successful team! We are looking for a motivated individual who can function in a flexible, fast paced production environment. Our workplace requires individuals who understand the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on Safety, Quality, Integrity, Teamwork, Customer Satisfaction, Ownership, and Productivity. This position is responsible for contributing to the day-to-day functions.
Position Overview:
• The Clamp Truck/Forklift Operator is responsible for the movement of Rolls from various areas including trucks and the warehouses to the corrugator for consumption.
Essential Job Functions:
• Qualifies to operate equipment by passing a Forklift Test.
• Demonstrates safety practices of heavy roll handling.
• Qualifies to drive a Clamp Truck.
• Understands shipping manifests from vehicles to be unloaded.
• Drives roll truck back and forth from warehouse.
• Utilizes the RF Scanning system to identify product.
MUST HAVES:
• 2 years of Clamp Truck Forklift experience
• Ability to work overtime (typically work 60 hours M-F including some work on Saturday's if needed)
• The ability to learn and follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member a team.
• Possess a high degree of attention to detail and considerable dexterity in the control of company equipment and in the prevention of damage to materials and equipment
