Job Title: Repair Technician
Job Description
As a Repair Technician, your role will involve performing testing, troubleshooting, and repair of FAA approved temperature-controlled containers. You will be responsible for managing the warehouse and material movement, patching holes on cargo containers, and carrying out deriveting and riveting tasks. You will ensure the containers are delivered clean and free from defects that could affect operation or performance. You will also be called upon to respond to technical assistance requests from customers, provide training, and demonstrations of FAA approved Active Systems in the area. Additional duties include documenting all work performed using CATS and WO system, monitoring the stock of spare parts, picking up and dropping off RKNs from/to customers, and maintaining the repair facility in a clean, safe, and operational condition.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.
Work Environment
You will be working with a provider of cold chain shipping solutions for airlines, freight forwarders, and life sciences companies. The repair facility is located at ORD. The pay range is $22-25.00/hr with a 2nd shift schedule from 3:30pm - 12am, Monday to Friday. The facility is very clean. It is not temperature controlled, but generally maintains a comfortable climate.
