Description:

Seeking a 1st shift Controls Technician responsible for reading ladder logic, troubleshooting, editing, and Programming Allen Bradley/Siemens PLCs. Equipment includes band saws, cut-off saws, horizontal contour cutters, laser cutters, up to 20-ton presses, slitters, 400HP grinders, glue machines, rollers, conveyors, ABB/Fanuc/Motoman Robots, hydraulics, pneumatics, up to 400 HP motors, bearings, fans, breakers, fuses, sensors, etc. up to 480v 3-phase. AutoCAD knowledge and experience is strongly desired.

Hours:

1st shift:

6am-2:30pm

Must Have:

-Ability to read/follow ladder logic, check inputs/outputs, etc.

-Ability to troubleshoot, edit, and program Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLCs

-Electrical Knowledge up to 480v 3-phase - LOTO, new machine installation, troubleshooting/repairs

-Ability to read/interpret blueprints and schematics

-Have own basic hand tools and tool box (power/specialty tools provided)

-Ability to use a tablet to log jobs in (work orders, repairs, PMs, etc.) and use the laptop for the PLCs
