Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic (3rd Shift)

Job Description

  • Seeking a 3rd shift Maintenance Mechanic responsible for both preventative and reactive mechanical and basic electrical maintenance. The role involves maintaining a variety of equipment, including band saws, cut-off saws, horizontal contour cutters, laser cutters, presses up to 20 tons, slitters, 400HP grinders, glue machines, rollers, conveyors, and ABB/Fanuc/Motoman Robots. Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance tasks such as lubing, greasing, and checking components for wear or problems. The mechanic will also engage in mechanical troubleshooting and repairs related to hydraulics, pneumatics, motors (up to 400 HP), gears, bearings, and fans. Basic electrical tasks include understanding of 480v 3phase, Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures, using a volt meter, and checking or replacing breakers, fuses, and sensors. Fabrication skills, including the ability to weld, bend, cut, and straighten metal, are considered a plus.
