Aerotek Finish Carpenter in Elkridge, Maryland

Aerotek's client is a leading provider of sound solutions systems, resolving noise problems for businesses in the Baltimore Metropolitan Region and they are currently looking for an experienced Carpenter/Installer to join their team!

Job Description:

  • Installation of Track System (Track, Core and Tuck Fabric)

  • Installation of Pre Fab Acoustical Tack board and Panel installation

  • Installation of Marker Boards

  • Various hardware and general construction skills

Position Key Criteria/Requirements:

  • Inclined to working with power tools, hand tools, and at various heights

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. overhead

  • OSHA 30 and CPR certified within 3 months of hire

  • Able to work on feet for extended periods of time

  • Able to work flexible hours, early starts, late finishes, and weekends based on active project schedules

  • Strong attention to detail; Supervise for quality control

  • Keep detailed notes of all work that is done and report progress to superiors

  • Utilize specific training system to develop the skills of new employees

  • Ensure all materials are high-quality built-in compliance with specifications

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients

  • Maintain and implement all safety measures and procedures

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; foster team mentality within crews

  • Receptive to a continuous learning environment with consistent, hands-on training year round

  • Travel throughout all parts of the DMV
