Job Title: Extrusion Operator

Job Description

We are on the hunt for dedicated Extrusion Operators to join our dynamic team. As an Extrusion Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining maximum production rates, minimizing overweight and rejects, training new employees, and assisting the supervisor in overseeing shift operation. Your duties will include checking daily production schedules and count-sheets, recording machine speeds, regrind silo levels and other pertinent information, ensuring color barrels and hoppers do not go empty, making necessary adjustments on extruders and related equipment, monitoring extruder parameters, and checking product appearance. Your role will also involve assisting machine tenders in resolving any unusual issues and producing a quality product. Other temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities related to the job may be assigned as needed.

Shift

  • 12-hour shift, rotating 2-2-3 schedule

  • Midnight-noon

  • Noon-midnight

Pay

  • $20-$21/hr

This is a fully on-site position in Vestal, New York.
