Job Title: Electrical Instrumentation Tech

Job Description

The Instrument Technician (EIT) is an hourly position responsible for providing process expertise across multiple functions including electrical, electronic, and instrument specialist responsibilities. Key tasks include addressing process equipment issues, executing preventive and predictive maintenance, and striving to eliminate special cause variation. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and optimizing plant efficiency. The EIT is expected to work collaboratively in safety and housekeeping, maintain a safe work environment, and actively participate in safety culture improvements. The position involves analyzing, troubleshooting, installing, and repairing electrical equipment, instruments, controls, and machinery. The EIT also supports and leads other craft and non-craft employees during maintenance tasks, particularly in breakdown scenarios, and provides training to production and apprentice personnel.

Hard Skills

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Fairburn, Georgia.

Work Environment

Industrial setting with shift availability required. Day shift runs Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, and night shift operates on a 3 on/3 off schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM. Compensation is $40.05 per hour with a $1 shift differential.
