Job Title: Mechanic (Service Technician)
Job Description
We are on the hunt for a dedicated and skilled Service Technician Mechanic to join our team. This full-time position operates during standard work hours from Monday to Friday, 8AM-4:30PM, with a 40-hour work week. As a Service Technician Mechanic, you will be tasked with servicing a variety of industrial vehicles such as sewer and storm cleaning vehicles, hydro and vacuum excavators, and street sweepers. Your responsibilities will include checking and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues. While it's not a requirement, if you have experience repairing and working on Forklifts, this skill can be utilized in this role. Please note that the position requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs throughout your shift and may occasionally involve travel for onsite repairs at customer locations.
Hard Skills
Knowledge of Pneumatics - Compressing Air
Understanding of Hydraulics - application of fluid
Knowledge of Electrical systems - batteries, alternators, relays, and switches
Ability to perform Electrical Diagnostics
