Aerotek Loader Lead in Fairmont, Minnesota

Job Title: Yard Loader Lead

Job Description

As a Yard Loader Lead, you will be responsible for performing and directing other yard personnel in the safe and accurate daily work activities involving the shipping, receiving, and handling of products. You will interact with drivers and customers, representing our company in a friendly and courteous manner at all times. This position requires the flexibility to work 40+ hours per week and weekends as required and report directly to the Yard Supervisor and/or Yard Manager.

Hard Skills

  • Proper PPE compliance

  • Safe working practices

  • Using the MRP system to check inventory

  • Conducting cycle-counts

  • Fulfilling LTL shipments

  • Operating and maintaining forklift and yard vehicle

  • Inspection of finished goods quality

  • Maintaining yard housekeeping, organization, and layout

  • Promoting good customer service

Soft Skills

  • Ability to direct daily work activities of yard personnel

  • Ability to communicate unsafe conditions, acts, or injuries immediately

  • Ability to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Fairmont, Minnesota.
