Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a General Production Worker, where you will be responsible for monitoring milk pasteurizing machines, ensuring proper operation, checking temperatures, and serving as the primary backup for the main operator. Additionally, you will engage in other vital roles within the packaging and production departments. In the Caves Production area, your responsibilities will include bagging and lifting 35lb cheese wheels, performing sanitation support, and working in a cool environment of 53 degrees. The Production role is physically demanding, involving rotation between multiple positions such as shoveling/stirring milk in a VAT system, packaging cheese curds, and stacking totes of curds. You will contribute to our commitment to food safety and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Hard Skills
3+ months of manufacturing experience
Ability to read temperature gauges and graphs
Capability to stand for 8-10 hours per day

Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 18 Week(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Faribault, Minnesota.
Work Environment
You will be working in a food manufacturing environment, specifically a cheese plant which involves exposure to dairy odors. It's essential to follow strict GMPs and food safety practices to maintain the high quality of our products.
