Aerotek Grinder Operator in Farmington, New York
IMMEDIATELY HIRING FOR AN ENTRY-LEVEL GRINDER OPERATOR
LOCATION: FARMINGTON, NY
WEEKLY PAY: $17.00-$18.00/hr
BENEFITS: 401K, DENTAL, VISION
Job Description:
Set up and operate one or more grinding machines
Grind external surfaces of metal work pieces to close tolerance blueprint specifications
Follow blueprints and tooling instructions
Adjusts controls to set specified grinding speeds, feed rates and spacings between wheel faces
Utilizing measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, laser micrometers and preset gages
Qualifications:
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to do basic math
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Heavy lifting required
