Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
The Plant Maintenance Technician will ensure plant production equipment continues to operate safely and efficiently. The role involves utilizing skills to reduce unwanted downtime and to analyze and troubleshoot electrical, automation, mechanical, and operational problems on equipment. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting equipment failures, mechanical/electrical issues, adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts using power or hand tools, performing minor electrical and plumbing maintenance, and assisting in troubleshooting HVAC and Boiler systems. Additionally, the role includes monitoring production and facilities for improvements and repairs, responding to emergency situations in accordance with departmental protocols, and adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines. The candidate will also work on preventive maintenance schedules and maintain work areas in accordance with 5s principles.
