Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

Seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate a variety of CNC machines including mills and lathes, and/or hydromats. Responsibilities include performing machine setups, conducting quality checks using precision measuring devices like calipers, and executing preventative maintenance tasks. The role also involves assisting in the instruction of machine setups with operators, diagnosing issues, troubleshooting, and making necessary adjustments. Candidates will work in a dynamic machine shop environment, adjusting speeds and feeds for different materials to ensure optimal operations.

Hard Skills

  • Operation of CNC mills and lathes

  • Operation of hydromats

  • Performing machine setups

  • Using precision measuring devices (e.g., calipers)

  • Preventative maintenance of machines

  • Understanding of G & M code

Soft Skills

  • Troubleshooting

  • Diagnosing issues

  • Instructional skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Fenton, Missouri.

Work Environment

Shift options include 2nd shift Monday-Thursday 3PM-1AM and weekend day shifts Friday-Sunday 5AM-5PM (work 36 hours, paid for 40).
